Three stocks have been placed under surveillance at Borsa Istanbul as part of the VTBS measures.
According to the decision of the Capital Markets Board (CMB), various trading restrictions have been imposed on three stocks listed on Borsa Istanbul as part of the Volatility-Based Precautionary System (VBTS). The measures for BVSAN, PAPIL, and KSTUR shares will commence on March 13, 2025, and continue until April 11, 2025.
For BVSAN shares, short selling and margin trading bans will be enforced, aimed at curbing excessive price fluctuations and ensuring market stability. Additionally, PAPIL shares will implement a gross settlement system, requiring investors to trade only with cash balances during the same period. KSTUR shares will see a package order precaution, restricting market orders and limiting order cancellations and modifications. Existing bans on short selling and margin trading will remain in effect throughout these measures.
