MARKET OVERVIEW - Eurozone industrial production has rebounded, but the key question remains: when will real relief arrive?
Foreks - ING noted that the outlook for industrial production in the Eurozone has shifted, but the main question remains when true relief will arrive. In a statement regarding the recently released Eurozone industrial production figures, ING mentioned that increased defense spending across Europe and potential German infrastructure investments have become feasible in recent weeks. While a significant recovery by 2025 seems unlikely, some early investments may take place.
In January, industrial production rose by 0.8% month-on-month, exceeding market expectations, while it showed no change against an annual forecast of -0.7%. The note concluded, "Overall, the light at the end of the tunnel has strengthened, but the timing of reaching the end remains as uncertain as ever."
