Foreks - The İzmir Governorate announced that meetings, demonstrations, and press statements are now prohibited. The Governorate stated that this ban is effective for five days starting today to prevent provocative actions observed during recent protests.

The statement included the following: "In accordance with the decision taken by our Governorate, all kinds of meetings, demonstrations, and press statements are prohibited for five (5) days, from March 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM to March 25, 2025, at 11:59 PM, to maintain public order and prevent any potential provocative actions."
