Investing.com — Johnson & Johnson announced on Friday its plan to invest over $55 billion in the United States over the next four years. This investment is earmarked for the construction of manufacturing facilities and the expansion of research infrastructure. The planned investment represents a 25% increase compared to the company's investment in the previous four-year period.

As part of its expansion plan, Johnson & Johnson will build three new manufacturing facilities in the U.S. This includes a facility in Wilson, North Carolina, where construction officially began on Friday. Additionally, the company plans to expand several of its existing facilities in the U.S. Johnson & Johnson currently operates more manufacturing facilities in the U.S. than in any other country.
