Cengiz Eroldu has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OSD.

Foreks - The Automotive Industry Association (OSD), Turkey's oldest umbrella organization in the automotive sector, held its 50th Ordinary General Assembly. During the assembly, Cengiz Eroldu, who took over as Chairman of the Board in 2022, was re-elected as President. Eroldu emphasized the growth of the automotive industry, stating, “In 50 years, we produced 33 million vehicles and exported 20 million. By 2024, our total capacity will reach 2.2 million units, and with ongoing investments, we aim for a scale approaching 3 million vehicles.” He expressed excitement about the goal of reaching $50 billion in exports, highlighting the industry's significant contribution to the Turkish economy.

The OSD, representing 13 major members, also announced the winners of the "Export Achievement Awards" and "Supplier Industry Awards" during the assembly. Eroldu noted that despite maintaining export quantities, the total value reached a record of $37.2 billion, with expectations to increase this to $39-$40 billion in the coming year. The awards recognized outstanding achievements in exports and innovation among OSD members, showcasing the industry's commitment to excellence and sustainability.
