Nvidia leads pre-market losses among the Magnificent Seven stocks.
Nvidia, a leading technology company, is leading pre-market losses among the Magnificent Seven stocks on Friday. The company's 50-day moving average fell below its 200-day moving average on Thursday, marking the stock's first death cross since January 2023.
Meanwhile, Tesla, another member of the Magnificent Seven, is also experiencing a decline in pre-market trading, though to a lesser extent. CEO Elon Musk has encouraged employees to hold onto their shares amid recent challenges. Other members of the Magnificent Seven, including Meta, Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, and Apple, also saw pre-market losses, but these remained below 0.5%. Nvidia's drop was more pronounced at 1.1%, while Tesla's shares fell by 0.5%. Consequently, the Magnificent Seven stocks have lost approximately 15% in value this year.
